Sammi was diagnosed with Stage 5 Lymphoma the end of March 2008 and we were told he was not expected to make it more than a few months. November of 2008 and he is still going strong!
We have been really diligent about keeping Sammi hydrated with sub-cutaneous fluids when needed. Through this we discovered that vitamin B-6 injections a couple of times a week changed Sammi from a tired old dog, to a dog with much more energy and pep! We swear by these injections...they are not painful and very easy to do! I highly recommend talking to your vet about these! |

Hi Sammi and Mum!
How does the B6 work and what does it do? Mabel (my JRT) has just started chemo for lymphoma and i'm wondering about how I can support her further without interfering with the chemo. Is your Sammi on chemo with the B6? Thanks for any clarification you might be able to give. Best wishes, Clifford & Mabel. |
