Default Brain tumour surgery

Hi

We're new to the forum.....

We're devastated that our 7-year-old English Bull Terrier, Logan, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour, following a MRI scan on Monday 19th Jan. It's likely to be a meningioma, but we can't be sure until after surgery. He's on Phenobarbitone to control his seizures (he had his first seizure on Sat 17th).

Our dilemma is whether to go ahead with the surgery or not. He's booked in for surgery for this coming Monday 26th Jan. This has happened all so very quickly and we want to be sure we're making the right decision. We've talked with the neurologist, but would like to know if anyone has any experience of their dog going through surgery of this type.

Many thanks

Garry
