Default Not good

Ginger has had 6 reounds of radiation and 4 doses of the vacciine for oral malignant melanoma and is not doing so well right now. Her last treament was a few months ago. yesterday was the first day she did not wan to eat. I have tried pureed food, baby food, chicken soup, peanut butter, roast beef and even rice pudding to get her to eat. So far she is only drinking pedialite. for my kids sake this time of year would be devastating for them. My oldest already has the memory of his father dying 2 days before his birthday. I also feel I was mislead by the vet and they took me for over ten thousand dollars for nothing. They conveniently have right there in the lobby a place to sign up for a charge card, which I maxed out quite early and had to resort to other charge cards to pay the rest.. I would say our experience with radiation was not a very good one..

Hi Darkrose

Have you tried feeding her from your hand. Like roast beef put a little in your hand she may take that way. Worth trying.. even putting soft food like the rice pudding on your fingers and let her lick your fingers. Keep trying.... I agree this is not the best time, try not to let Ginger see your emotions.. I know easier said then done.

Thinking of you
