Jed has had cancer about 2 1/2 years and she's been through a lot, she's lost a lot of weight lately and now in the last week has had two absess. One came up as big as my fist overnight on her back leg. Got that one dealt with and a few days later another on her neck.
The vet said after the second one that she was hoping the broad spectrum antibiotics would help but getting one so soon is not at all good. She has told me that if these keep coming and she thinks they will theni'll have to make a decision to put her down. Has anybody had any experience with this. We've tried so hard for her and when everybody else gives up i refuse to as she's my baby. The vet said because her immune is down she can't fight them. She's on supplements which i will continue to give her. Anybody got any thoughts, ideas? cheers, jedda |

So sorry to hear about Jed. Unfortunately I don't have any answers. Benny's tumours reappeared after several months in remission and he let us know when it was "time to turn the corner." It is very difficult and my prayers go out to you.
Just keep loving Jed and do the best you can and live in each moment as he does. Blessings, Joanne |
