Thank you, You have given me a peace I never thought I would know. I still have Harley, we are fighting this horrible obcenity of a disease together. He is doing well compared to almost three moths ago. I attribute that to all I have learned here on this forum as well as the relief I feel that I can go to a place I am understood. I am grateful , I feel truely blessed.Love Sue C and Harley

Thanks, Ted, for getting me to this site. I have been working with your book, and have implementing many of your suggestions. Many were suggested and prescribed by my vet at Dogwood, in Gresham.
I am also starting Chula on a type specific medication, Palladia, for Mast Cell tumors. I know, it may be hard on her, but I have got to try everything. All the things you had to say about Cancer treatment is true. They only want to control it, but it cannot be cured. If the medication doesn't seem to be good for her in every way, I will discontinue the treatment. I am seeing the Oncologist at Veterinary Cancer Referral located in Dove Lewis, Portland, OR.
I will keep in touch about her progress.

Hi Ted, I have previously had contact with you when my dog Jack was first diagnosed with anal cancer, and you were a great help to me - that was in 2008, and Jack is still with me, although getting weaker now. I just wanted to thank you for your kind words and support, and I think I will be needing these again soon when Jack does lose his battle. He has managed to last 6 months more than the 'expected' mortality rate for dogs with anal cancer, and he is still wagging his tail and eating well. Thank you very much for helping me in the early stages....

Thank you so much! I come to this site everyday it helps me to know I'm not alone. I have to have a knee replacement and I have been home with Rusty for 2 months now. God really knew what he was doing with the timeing because Rusty got really bad in January and I was here with him 24-7. I'm just so worried my husband and son won't be as attentive to Rusty's needs and all the suppliments and cooking as I am, I do everything for my baby. I keep putting off the surgery but I know the place where I work will start to question me soon. I'm sorry I just really needed to tell someone and I thank you a thousand times over for this site. God Bless you!

You are most welcome. Some people have nothing better to do with their time than create "problems" for wonderful websites like yours.

    Hi Ted,
Thank you for responding to my last email re: CAUTION and my take on why your were posting that. Yes, my source of help is the BEST and I do find reaching out to others on this site is very helpful. Everybody is in such pain trying to deal with the many different types of cancer in their beloved dogs.
Today we are getting a cortisone shot for Benny since his Mast Cell Tumour is growing too quickly. Say a prayer for him.
Our granddaughter hope to see him at Chrismtas and give him a hug. She will be 6 in December and they grew up together.
Happy American Thanksgiving and thank you for opening up this site to us all.

    Sincerely,
    Joanne ( Benpaws)

Thanks for opening this site Ted. It is one I never wanted to belong to but now know I must. The support is great and the sharing of ideas and pain helps me cope. Benny is still active and happy even though the Tumour is growing. He lives "in the moment" and so do I. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring.
God Bless you for this opportunity to share.

    Sincerely, Joanne ( Benpaws)
