Thank you my dearest Sissy, you are the BEST. Yesterday was just another occasion that Benny so enjoyed in his lifetime....a birthday party. He would sit at the door waiting for the guests to arrive and then take one shoe from each guest and place it in the laundry room as if to say, I'm so glad you are here and you can stay and you are welcome. Let the party begin. There was an emptiness without him her yesterday and everyone felt it.

Just checking to see if my emails went through to you since I have not received any more from you? I know you are very busy with Eddy and your new puppy Maddie, but I just hoped you had received my emails. Hope Eddy is doing well and give Maddie a big hug from me. I sent you pictures of Shadow when he was only 8 days old and we 'll get more on Sunday when we visit and he will be 4 weeks old. Tomorrow will be one! Carpe Diem!
Another sad post today of another little 6 year old fur boy named Boo who has been diagnosed with oral cancer and the hearts of his human friends are breaking. It breaks my heart to read this. It is a mystery why so many dogs get cancer and some so young.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments on Benny's pictures. I feel exactly the same way about your precious Muffin. At least we have terrific memories of the good old days and nothing ever stays the same. I would not have traded one moment with Benny as I know you feel the same about your time with Muffin. Now you are getting to enjoy the love of another beautiful puppy and we will soon have Shadow and it will be another "beginning." Hope you got the 4 acres cut. It was up in the mid 80s here on Saturday, really hot for this time of year in Southern, Ontario.

you are the BEST. We get to see SHADOW on May 3rd. I'll be sure to give him a hug from you. Give Maddie one from me and take a big one for yourself. Take it easy tomorrow. Our lawn will soon need a cutting but your weather is way ahead of ours. Those flowers in your garden are just beautiful....the lavender ones in the picture with Maddie and your darling daughter.

Dear Sissy, thank you so much for the poem. My heart is breaking with each second passing. I don't want this journey to end, but it will no matter what I say. I guess I was borrowing her and he wants her back home. I haven't felt pain like this in a long time

I just sent you a note and it disappeared. Thank you for your kind words re: our new puppy. His name will be SHADOW. He wil be black and silver not "salt and pepper" like Benny. Happy Easter and give Maddie a big hug from me.

We just got back from the breeders and yes, we will be getting a new black and grey schnauzer in two months. He is only 8 days old and the miracle is that he was born at exactly the same time , on the same day that we lost our precious Benny.....12:10 pm, April 2nd. Benny sent me to that breeder, and I know God destined this new puppy for our home. I am not telling too many people here for fear of upsetting them at such a terrible time. Just KNEW you would be happy!
I did not realize you had lost muffin until you replied to my virtual candle post. I am so sorry and although Muffin is no longer here to hold, you carry her in your heart. My what a beautiful sweetheart, thank you for sharing your pictures.
Yes I do believe Muffin sent you the sign with your new puppy Maddie and glad you took the steps (thank your daughter) to get her. It was fate, know that Muffin is still watching over you and now has help with the addition of Maddie
