Dear Pauline,
I am sorry to hear of your beautiful Border Collie being diagnosed with Lymphoma. I noticed the first lump on our Schnauzer Benny two months before his 4th birthday and the vets failed to check it out. He passed away on April 2nd, 2009 from MAST CELL TUMOUR cancer at the age of 6.
I hope you get help and that the outcome will be positive for your dear dog. There is much which can be done and since this was caught EARLY, your puppy has a very good chance of survival. You have come to a wonderful site where there is support and help and much information! Ted's book is wonderful!
I took the liberty of posting your note in the DOG CANCER FORUM where you introduce yourself and your dog. You will get many responses I am sure. Hope you don't mind??
My prayers are with you.
