I know how much Dasha meant to you and how hard it must be for you now.Sometimes it is in our most difficult circumstances that we see the hand of God most clearly. God loves you without condition. He's aware of what you're going through, and He is with you in your time of need. We love our pets because they are somehow like ourselves, only with more innocence and trust. Take Time and Take Care

Dear Sissy, thank you so much for the poem. My heart is breaking with each second passing. I don't want this journey to end, but it will no matter what I say. I guess I was borrowing her and he wants her back home. I haven't felt pain like this in a long time

HEAVEN'S DOGGY-DOOR
My best friend closed his eyes last
night, As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
And it was hard for him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through
my head, As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And OH...his many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

I am so sorry to hear about Dasha (Daddy's Little Girl). My daughter is Daddy's Little Girl, even though she is almost 20. I just love that phrase. My heart goes out to you. Love her as I know you are. I can feel the bond that y'all have. I won't lie , it will be tough. It was the hardest thing that I have ever gone through. My Muffin had Mass Cell Tumor form of cancer and I lost her Dec.16. We are here for you. Give your lil girl a BIG kiss for me. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. God Bless and have a wonderful Easter.
