Hi Jim,
I have put a couple of pictures of Shadow in Benny's album but he was only 9 weeks old. He now has his schnauzer haircut and is growing. He weighed in at 4 lbs, 9 ounces yesterday at the vet and he absolutely AMAZING, quiet, smart, knows his name, is 90% house trained. I cannot believe how good he is for a puppy. He only chews on his own toys and not anything else. Benny is definitely part of this new pup. When Jim uploads the recent pictures, I include them. Thanks for asking. How is Bailey and Angel? My life is busy and I won't be on here quite as often.

HI Jim,
I know what you mean about going through all the "firsts" without your puppy. Although it was very warm here yesterday and I usually am the fist to cut the lawn in the neighbourhood, I just couldn't do it, because like with Dasha, Benny was always outside with me. It is just so lonely around here without him. I am sure Bailey will perk up when you get Angel. It is really hard on the pup who is "left behind" because there is no way to explain to them why their best friend didn't come home that day.

Hi Joanne, Thanks for the sites. We have been researching holistic dog foods and want Bailey and Angel to both be on it. It was hard on me mowing the lawn because Dasha would always be there while I was doing it. Bailey is still very much a mess. He can't be left alone and still is upset with her not being here. I can't wait till Angel arrives. That should perk him up. Its bothers me going thru all the firsts without Dasha. Thanks for your help and support. Jim and Rene and Bailey

I fed Benny the CANCER FORMULA CANINE LIFE MUFFINS and he loved them. They make a special puppy formula which we will be getting for SHADOW.

Hi Jim,
I just posted a note for you and wish to extend my heartfelt feelings for what you are facing. Our Benny lost his two year battle with cancer last Thursday and he was only 6. Like Dasha, he was my sun in darkness, the moon at night, the brightest star in the universe, my "rock", my companion, my best fur boy in the whole world and my world has been turned upside down with this dreadful roller coaster ride ending last Thursday at noon with the loss of Benny ( a big dog in a small fur suit.)My prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. You will find great support here with all the loving members who KNOW exactly what your pain is.
