Meesh
I've actually been debating the flea and tick thing in my head for the past week because my guys are due for their first application for the season. Someone on the lymphomaheartdogs posted something recently about a natural mix for fleas and ticks; check that archive. I've also recently read about citronella oil being a good natural alternative which makes sense since that's what all thos outdoor candles are made of. I guess I'll try it for a little while. My only hesitation with a "natural" option is that if it doesn't work, the fleas actually feed on the dogs' blood which for a chemo dog is really bad because their counts are already compromised. I've always used Frontline so I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. Are you and Boomer going to Penn for treatment (I noticed you're from Philly)? Let me know what you decide. Best of luck to you and Boomer!

Hi Meesh,
I am a new member to this board & also belong to the LymphomaHeartDogs & have been sick worrying about flea & tick control since we are now in the season. Previously, I gave my boys advantix & was always sick about giving them this poison but never really found a natural substitute. Now my that one of my goldens, Boomer-12 yrs old in June was just diagnosed with lymphoma last month, I am really researching for a natural control. I have read soooo much on line & I am completely dizzy. Does anyone know of any natural treatments that really work?
