My Dear Amy,
I know exactly how hard this is for you and your husband. These precious dogs get into our hearts from the first glance and stay there indelibly forever. Cancer is a dreadful disease and we watched Benny's beautiful body become ugly with tumours and bleeding and our hearts were ripped out of our bodies the day we held him as he crossed Rainbow Bridge.He was only 6. I still cry every day even though we have a new puppy Shadow who is wonderful. God Bless you all!

Thank you for responding, I appreciate your kind words. I don't know from one minute to the next if I am doing the right thing. I hope I am. I do know that Janie knows we love her and that is all that matters. She is a wonderful/faithful companion to both my husband and myself. I will post a picture soon of Janie soon. Amy
