Default Please read..a smile at a difficult time!

Hi:

I joined this web-site in November of 2009 after losing Rocky to Lymphoma at the age of 7. I wrote a book with ALL THE PROFITS going to Rocky's Trust Fund to help people who can't afford cancer treatment for their pets. If you have a pet with cancer, or have lost a pet to cancer, or have children who have lost a pet, then you will enjoy the book. It is funny and poignant but believe it or not, has a happy ending as Rocky leaves for The Rainbow Bridge, pain free from the cancer and able to play with his other friends who passed away. It will help you with your pain and will make you laugh and cry and remember why we love our furry friends. Please order one, order a lot, tell your friends and tell your vets. Details at Home and search for Rocky: The Autobiography of a Chipmunk Chaser. You will not be disappointed!!!
Thank you for taking time out to do this. Rocky appreciates your help!
John
PS My friend Benpaws has read it and LOVED it. Thank you Joanne for all you do on this web-site! ...

Wink Re: ROCKY'S BOOK

Dear Friends on DCC,
I strongly recommend that you read "Rocky' Book" which is filled with joy and a little sadness, but touches your heart in a very deep and meaningful way.

Rocky was "John's heart" and he died far too soon at the age of 7. John said it was "the worst day of my life." We can all attest to that, those of us who have lost our beautiful companions to cancer or other things like Debbie's beloved dog Jack who ran away and never returned.

The book was not only a "work of the heart" but the proceeds go to helping people with very little money whose dogs have been diagnosed with some form of cancer, to get funds for treatments etc.

Thank you for your very kind accolades to me John, but everyone here is a treasure and a help and in my heart for being there for me in my "darkest hour on April 2nd, 2009, when I saw Benny go to sleep for the final
time."
My heart broke into a million pieces that day and in time I got better and this book just "made my heart smile." Thank you for writing it and I am sure it was cathartic for you to do because I know you miss Rocky every moment of every day.

We all need a smile and this book will give you many!

Blessings,
Joanne & Shadow
