Stas and myself took a look at the candles site you linked and it brought tears to our eyes to see you lit one for Dante. We were both so touched , more than word can tell. You are such a compassionate caring soul ! I will go now and light a few candles myself. Thank you from Dante, Stas and myself.

My Dear Melanie and Stas,

Keep on lighting those candles for Dante and look for his beautiful face in the candle's glow. Of course I am here for you in any way that you have need, because I know the pain in your hearts and I feel it all over again when I read of another precious companion leaving this world and losing his/her fight with the dreadful CANCER. Everyone understands exactly how you are feeling and it brings back those last moments so many of us have had with our best friend.

May each day find you a little more at peace and continue to come here and share your feelings.

I came immediately after we lost Benny because it was this place which helped me through all the days, weeks, months when I was dealing with Ben's awful cancer.Everyone took the "journey with me." We climbed the hills and valleys together, reached the mountain tops and shared the joys and the sorrows and finally everyone acknowledged Benny's death and comforted me with such caring and compassion that I did make it through and I continue to come here each day to try and give some of the strength to you and others who gave it so willingly to me at my darkest hour.
