Joanne, sorry it took me so long to reply to your post but know that my thoughts and prayers were with you on April 2
Your deep love for Benny comes through in the words. What a beautiful tribute! I know composing the poem would have brought many tears and yet many smiles to, of all the memories Benny left you and your family. We can only take 1 day at a time and lean on our new fur pals and friends to get us through those difficult days. I know this past year has not been easy for you and yet you were here for all of us. You are one amazing friend. (((((Hugs))))) Kerri |

Thanks Kerri. Had it not been for this site and the amazing friends I have met here, I would have had a much tougher time after losing Benny.I could come and share and cry and remember and just "be." Thanks you for your kindness.
It helped to come here each day and share my feelings and try and bring comfort to those starting the "cancer journey" with their life-companions. <<<Hugs back to you friend>>> Joanne |
