Wink Brandy

I lit a candle for Brandy today. This is a wonderful site and brings a moment of quiet contentment when you visit it and light a remembrance candle for your precious puppy.

Group *DCC* Candles - Light A Candle

Hugs,
Joanne

Default Brandy

Dear Jeanette,
This is the hardest part of the "cancer journey" when you must take the trip alone without your companion with you.
Everyone would like their best friend to just "go to sleep" and die peacefully from old age and since we had to watch our beloved companions slowly weaken from this terrible disease, makes the end very difficult indeed.
I so understand how you are feeling in these first days. Your heart feels as if it has been torn from you. As the days pass, you will move into different stages of grief and tears will flow, but memories of good times will also fill your head and your heart and even make you smile.
I hope you have a good support system around you and spend time with your other two dogs, because they are missing Brandy also and need you to be there for them. Visit your grandchildren if they are close by. Children always bring joy to one's heart.
I know there is a "Heaven" and Brandy is definitely there. I have faith and a strong belief and that got me through some very difficult days. There is someone much greater than I and I know in my heart I will see my Benny again.
Take care and come here if you need comfort and support during the months ahead. This is a "safe place " to come and cry and you are among FRIENDS!

Blessings,
Joanne & Shadow
