Remembering Billy Boy

Dear Friends,
It is one year tomorrow since Alyson said goodbye to her beloved and precious best fur boy, Billy.

I was thinking that it would be a good thing for us all to light a candle tomorrow in remembrance of this special little dog and the close relationship he and Alyson shared. He lost his battle with bladder cancer after a short 3 months. You can read of Billy in the "In Memoriam" section.

This time has gone so quickly and many of us have lost our precious puppies in the interim.

God be with you Alyson as you remember your Billy Boy.

Thank you both for remembering and caring, i cant believe its has been 12mths! its still very painful and i shed a few tears this morning, buckets actually, but im thankfull that we had 10 fab yrs, which i know is more then most and i do thank god for having billy in my life!

i know just how you feel alyson my girl has been gone only 7 months and i think of her every day so my thoughts are with you and billy

Thanks Jeff, You have to keep thinking of the good times, if i start the, what if and should i? it hurts like hell.

Im sure my Billy is good friends with your Cassie and hes annoying her ha, as he has an eye for the ladys and shes good looking! Hows things going with Fokka the new guy?

hi alyson you are so right and cass would see billy off as she was a person dog and wouldnt have anything to do with other dogs..... she used to embarras me when we were out by trying to attack any dog that came near....... and the little fokka is similar in that he snaps at any dogs that come near and growls at people until he knows them then he is ok. he is great with old dogs but the others grrrrrr...... he follows me everwhere like she did but being a grand old lady she also kept her distance...but he is opposite he is very clingy and wants to be sitting on my lap all the time. you can see new pics of him in the album. take care

I just viewed the news pictures in your album and they are "priceless." What a beautiful puppy and so alive and so much fun. I know Cassie would approve.

thanx joanne yes its true and life has to go on and like you i think of cass everyday (its hard not to as her photos are all over the place and at first it upset me so much that i was going to take them down) ....... when you looked at photos of fokka did you run mouse over pic to read caption...... shadow looks georgeous so proud...... is he as naughty as the little fokka..... !! hes fell in love with the snow and if there was a way i would post a short vid of him playing snowballs. like you say we all have priceless memories and photos of our girls or boys and now i am able tto look at photos and laugh at some of the things she got up to. take care
