its 5 months since she's been gone and i still miss her every day

Dear Jeff,
Of course you miss Cassie and always will. Seventeen years together built a very indelible bond between you. In fact it only takes a moment for a puppy to get imbedded in your heart and every moment with him/her is a moment well lived.
You are in my prayers along with everyone else here. I DO UNDERSTAND that the tears still come. They do for me also.
The time sure does fly by and yet it seems like only yesterday our puppies were still with us. They always will be, but you cannot hug a memory.

I know, I'll think I"m doing better, then I'll go outside and wait for Pete to come out with me.........................then I remember that he's buried out by the orchard, breaks my heart on a daily basis
