My name is Kathy and my dog is Max. He's a lab mix with a sweet face and gentle nature. He has an enormous fluid filled sac in his groin area. He's gone through medications and had a small growth removed but the fluid just keeps coming. A vet specialist suspects strongly that it's cancer. He will have to go through more testing. I wonder if anyone has any suggestions about supplements I can start giving him to begin to help him. Thank you

Prayers go out to you and Max. Once the biopsy comes back, if the result shows cancer, then there will be suggestions on what supplements might be helpful. Your vet will also suggest a course of action for Max.

Hate hearing about our pets going through so many ailments and diseases. Theres not much to do as of yet but just feed him nourishing food. I hope his biopsy comes back good........you never know. Prayers are with you and Max. Try to think positive!

Get Canine Immune System Support by Standard Brands, and Artemisinin. Those are two really good supplements to start. You can find them on Amazon.com and they will get there in 2-3 days. The amount to give is on the bottle for the 1st one, and the Artemisinin is supposed to be 100mg twice a day, given without any meat or iron containing food. I gave Dante his in a little cottage cheese.
We are here for you-keep us posted. TJ |
