Default My litle Angel

Hello everyone, My name is Dave and I have an 11 year old mixed breed (pitbull & shepard) named Angel. I'm here to get whatever holistic info I can to help her. She has a tumor, which has now started to spread to her lungs. We've been told the prognosis isn't good and we're prepared for the worst. Right now, me & my family are just trying to make things comfortable for her. So far she seems ok. She rests a lot but still gets up and follows me around the house. We have her on 3 medications (Cephalexin, Tussigon, and metacam). One's an anti-inflamatory for her arthritis, one's an antibiotic to prevent infections from her surgery, the other is a cough suppressant so she can breath easier.

Right now I just want to get as much info as I can about proper diet, supplements, and herbal remedies. Traditional treatments can't help her at this point so I want to know what I can do with alternative treatments. The vet estimated she has a few weeks left. If I can make her last days comfortable that'll be something. But if there's the possibility for a miracle, then I'd like to try something new. Looking forward to talking to you all.

Hi Dave,

I'm sorry to hear about your pet. Unfortunately, we also have a wonderful pet that was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. We currently have him on Dr. Dressler's cancer diet and supplements. You can find his book on line. The good news is that Dr . Dressler has just come out with a new supplement that is suppose to help with their immune system and fight off cancer cells. It's called Apocaps. Dr. Dressler is a vet in Hawaii and he uses it in his practice. You can go online and read up on it if your interested.

Our boy has been on his diet and supplements for 4 weeks now and he seems pretty comfortable and is still eating up a storm. Like you, we are hoping for a miracle or at least a little while longer with our buddy.

Our thoughts are with you...

Where are you located? I would find a holistic vet who will come out right away and get you started on the proper supplements. Ours came within 2 days and Dante's prognosis went from the 4-6 weeks originally given him to the 4 months we had, all quality until the last 24 hours. That's a dog who does not appear to be in pain, eating 2 large meals a day and a 1+ mile walk every day up until the day before.
I can't tell you how grateful we were for the extra quality time we were given, What a gift.
