Hello,
My name is Kim and I'm in the South Jersey area. Buster was diagnosed with a chondrosarcoma in April. The Univ of Penn recommened amputation since it was sitting on a nerve. We have been doing well, no chemo or radiation since this type of tumor is resisitant to both treatments. We were given good odds 75/25 he would live out a normal life. Just had his lung x-ray's and the cancer has spread. Univ of Penn said that there is nothing more they can do for him. They never even heard of the metronomic protocol.... Basically, go home & die... first they said 3 months now they tell me 3 weeks. He is still eating, no coughing and goes to the dog park daily... where no one believes he is ill. He is on rimadyl and occasionally tramadol. He is not in pain and he has good qualitity of life. I taking him to Red Bank to see about the metronomic protocol.... I am not ready to give up!!!! It the only place in the area I know off that uses this protocol. I can't go to Ohio State for the artmesinin reseach. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Kim&Buster |

There is a veternary clinic that specializes in Canine Cancer located at 34 Trenton Lakewood Rd. Clarksburg, NJ 08510 and the web site is www.vsds.net. It's by the outlets near Great Adventure just off Interstate 195.
