Default Cami & Halo invite you....

Hello all,
We just joined your group here on dogcancercare.com! Not so excited to be here, but glad all of us can be supportive of one another in our struggles. Halo is my trailmate, my best buddy since I was 19 years old. She's been through undergrad with me and my first rental house, then through an engagement, moved to Atlanta for pharmacy school with me where she had her first very own house, then back to Kentucky, a marriage, and 6 other adopted brothers and sisters! All the while, she has been my co-pilot with her tail wagging and face smiling just waiting to see what we could do next.

Her journey:
9 year old female, spayed, dalmatian.
Left front humerus osteosarcoma.
Pathological fracture and unconfirmed OS diagnosis 11/18/2007.
2nd biopsy and confirmed OS diagnosis 5/2008.
De-bulking surgery 7/2008.
No amp, no chemo, no radiation.
Educated by Ted Schneck's book and "Help Your Dog Fight Cancer"
Primary supplements: Zeolite and K9 Immunity, long list of others
Diet: Raw frozen chicken or deer, broccoli, spinach, limited carrots, healthy oils (cod liver, flax, olive)

Upcoming chapter in our fight: Possible amputation next week pending specialist consult on Tues 12/23

I invite all of you to also visit the bonecancerdogs forum on yahoo.com.
Many fine people and pets there to share their stories just like this site. We can never have too much information to help our babies!

Default Thanks for the info

My golden retriever Riley has osteosarcoma also. His is the left back leg. He had his leg amputated after he fractured his leg three weeks ago. He is doing well. I also have him on a special diet and is taking supplements thanks to Ted's book. Chemo just doesn't make sense with him, it won't give him much more time. He is doing well at the moment and we are just loving him and going day to day. I am going to check out the web site on yahoo. Thank you again. Rose (Riley)
