Question Suggestions for Healing Bladder Inflammation

Ok, so I know that cranberry is good when one gets a UTI but is it effective for just the inflammation? Hamlet's culture came back and showed no bacteria which means that he simply has the inflammation of the bladder lining. Everything I've read so far says that while the cystitis will resolve itself now that we've switched chemo agents, it may take up to 3 months to do so! I feel so bad watching the poor guy go out and lift his leg at his favorite spots only to have nothing happen and then he tries again at a different spot. If I can expedite the healing of the inflammation, I'd like to do that. I already called the holistic vet and am waiting for a call back for her recommendations. I spoke with the onc this morning when the results of the culture came back and she has no problem with cranberry juice and/or supplements and said that it certainly wouldn't hurt. I'm just looking for any other suggestions anyone may have. Thanks.
