Kate,
that is amazing! I have a syring that is 12 cc's and i dilute the AVE in enough water to fill the syringe, he doesn't mind taking it. I give him all his supplements with the syringe, it is just easier. My friend said there was no reason that a dog could not take it., we will just have to see what happens. thanks for reminding me about the water ,the info on the Bio product and about taking care of myself, I forget to to that sometimes. Thanks so much Kate for the site on AVE. I am going to give it a try with Benny. We are so lucky that Ted has opened up this new website for us to share ideas. What a blessing. It helps to share doesn't it.
God Bless you. Joanne (Benpaws) |

Hi Joanne,
regarding the AVE, Bruno just started on it last week, he has been having very loose stooles, I am not sure if it is from the AVE. I also changed his dog food, so just be aware it is a possibility. I have been the guinny pig in using this on dogs. How expensive are the dog muffins and the dry food from caninelife? I am still waiting to hear back from them. Lillybell |

I just found out my white rescued boxer has Mast cell cancer stage II by removing a small lump on her left hind leg. I read that tumeric has anti inflammatory properties as well as potentially anti-cancer causing properties. I have been giving this to her for about 8 days, about 1/4 tsp each meal, she has 3 small meals a day. She loves it. She had another operation because my Vet did NOT do a biopsy 1st and he needed to remove the proper 2mm of tissue surrounding the lump area. He said the swelling had gone down quite a bit and I agreed it had. I can not give her anything else as she has severe allergic reactions to pretty much all foods but the Natural Balance duck and potato. Has anyone else used tumeric??

Hi there. So sorry to hear about your Boxer. I myself use Tumeric but have not used it in my dog's food. Think it can only be good. My dog Waldo had a mast cell tumor removed from his front lower leg in January. It was a stage 4 and it has not returned. Did you know that the Mast Cell is a hystamine response? You can give your dog benedryl 1mg/pound of dog to stop this response and it will also help with the allergies. You may try giving this at night as it will make the dog sleepy. You may also want to add Biopreparation to the diet:BioPreparation for Pets
I started Waldo on this in January. They have lots of information on their site. It helps with all things: inflamation, immunity, etc. It makes sense to me and Waldo is doing really well. They have some info about its use and mast cell tumors. The benedryl is not for everyday, But, my vet had me use it before they messed with the mast cell and after, for a bit. They can "surge" when irritated. There is a lot of information about Mast Cell tumors on the web. Good GOOD luck! warm regards, Kate and Waldo |

My 15 year old terrier was diagnosed with lymphoma in 07/2008. My vet gave him two months to live. I started him on a all natural grain-free diet with lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and chemical free meats. I ordered all natural grain-free dry dog food and treats and started him on K9 Transfer Factor, K-9 Immunity and K9 Omega Fish Oil Supplements daily. He is still doing good, maintaining his weight with a good appetite, and in no pain. I take each day as a precious gift. I feel the change in diet and supplements are the interventions that have helped my dog.

My 2 year old boxer was just diagnosed with a Grade II mast cell on his hind leg as well. They were able to get 3mm margins, but recommended radiation therapy as a precaution. After doing all of the research and meeting with several vets, we decided not to do the radiation at this time. We immediately switched him to a raw diet (as well as his older 7yr old sister) and I put him on the K9 Immunity. I have a wonderful local pet store that carries Blue Ridge Beef and they are letting me buy it by the case at a discount - which has been a true blessing.
They love the raw diet - I do half meat & bone and half tripe. I also mix in some veggies sometimes & I add Omega oils to the food. I got the K-9 Immunity online through Aloha Medicinals. Dog Cancer and K-9 Immunity It's quite expensive so thanks for all of the other immune builder information. I will check those out as well!!! Good luck to all!! Jan |
