I wanted a portrait of Pete, before he died, but it just went too fast. I found a man on the internet and sent him several pictures of Pete and he made the most beautifull portrait for me. I have no interest in this mans business, but if you are looking for something like that, I can recommend him.
He is so reasonable in his prices and he is a dog lover and was so supportative of me during the process. He was great to work with, didn't ask me to pay untill I saw the work and gave me a beautifull portrait of my boy. He really captured him, and for some reason it gives me great comfort to have Pete watching down on us from over the fireplace ![]() the artist is Dale Lewis and the website is Pet Portraits by Dale Lewis: Order a Pet Portrait of your dog, cat, or horse; superb quality at affordable prices I hope no one thinks I'm trying to gain anything from your sorrow, I just know that I desperately needed to have his portrait, and this man came through with flying colors for me. what a great idea - and unless you were selling vacuums - I don't think there's any one who thinks your taking advantage of anything - its nice to know you found some comfort in having the portrait done -andrea

Dear P.J.,
I totally agree with Andrea. That is a great idea to have your beloved pet captured in a "forever portrait." Pete will be watching over you from the mantle and also from above. Thanks for sharing with us. Hugs, Joanne & Shadow |
