Default From Rocky's Autobiography for those who have lost their friends

This is the last chapter in Rocky's book. I hope it makes sense to you if you lost your dog friend! He sent it to us from The Rainbow Bridge.

My New Life

Hi Mum and Dad:

I know it was tough for us all those last few days but I really appreciate being here now. Even though during the last few weeks I was still able to jump on the bed or chase Alvin, my chipmunk friend, my tummy had started to hurt a lot and my breathing was getting more difficult. However if you want to look on the bright side, we did get to meet a bunch of nice vets during the last year; Dr. Patti and Dr. Allys and of course Dr. Jeff. I’m sure you will keep in touch with them and let them know I am doing well.

I know that you both miss me and I miss you too, but given how ill I was feeling at the end, this is the best place for me. It’s not like we can’t chat to each other and the good news is I am available to talk any time of the day or night. I know you may be busy, but I always know when you’re thinking of me and of course I think of you all the time too. Remember this is just one part of the journey, not the end. It’s tough to get your head around the concept but it’s true. Thank you for everything!

Love and hugs.

Rocky the Rockstar.

Post Script.

This PS is for my two-legged friends. Take your dogs head in your hands, cuddle his ears and put your nose on his. Look deep into his eyes and you will see his unconditional love, his trust and his soul. I recommend doing this every day.

Hi John,

I loved this ending to "Rocky's" story. It reassures us all that our pets are well and free from pain and watching over us and listening to everything we say and it eases the hurt in our hearts when we lose them.

No, death is not the ending, just another part of the "journey."

I have read the book three times and recommend it to everyone.

Thanks John.

Blessings,
Joanne & Shadow

Default Thank you

Thanks for the kind words. Please check out Rocky's website and buy his book and recommend it to all your friends. All proceeds go to help fund cancer care for people who can't afford it and it's a fun and poignant book ideal for dog lovers and children. Thanks a bunch!!

John
