Unhappy Something very sad happened yesterday

Dear Friends,
This is just a note which has nothing to do with cancer, but was devastating to me and my family. Yesterday we attended the funeral service of my last aunt, Aunt Audrey.
While everyone was at the service, her apartment was broken into and all the jewellery which were treasured gifts given by Aunt Audrey to her 89 year old husband, my Uncle Howard was stolen. My cousin Nora took Uncle Howard home to start to grieve and begin the healing process and they came home to THIS.
I am just very sad that there are people like this in the world.
Just felt the "need to share" this with you, my friends.
Thinking of you all and hoping today is a good one for you and your beloved puppies.

Blessings,
Joanne

This is just beyond belief. Is this going to be on the news? Maybe someone would come forward if it were. I am so sorry to hear something so disgraceful.

I am SO SORRY to hear of this! There are horrible people out there that look at the obituaries and figure the departed's home will be empty and unwatched during the service times and rob them-we have had those things in the news here. It is the lowest most disgusting robbery of all, and hopefully those poeple will be dealt with appropriately in the next life.

Dear Joanne, I am so sorry about the loss. I can't believe what happened. It is ashame that people can be so cruel to do this. I hope they get caught and get what they deserve. Take care and I'll be saying a prayer for you, Jim.

Hi Joanne

Well as everyone has posted, what a terrible thing to happen.

It no doubt makes your grief even harder at a time like this. I hope that the police are able to recover the stolen items.

Meanwhile I hope the rest of the week gets better for you.
