Default chemo.

Hi all, On the question about chemo my little girl had the lypomasacroma all so we had to put her down Saturday November 15th, 2008. I was able to give her a 1 1/2 more years from the date of diagones. the Chemo is not hard and your dog will be up and down, Velvet's surrounded her thoart and she had a hard time breathing, there a good websites that will explain how the diease works and what can be done. She was only 6 years old when I lost her and she all so was on the pred. Best thing I can tell you is give them all the love in the world and stay by there side and in the long run it pays off in the end. Velvet did go through 2 remissions where we did not have to do treatment.

Default Remission

How to tell if one is in remission, is the lumps are really small almost as if they never had the cancer, they will all so act llike they did before they got sick, playing, eating, your vet should be able to tell you how your pet is doing mine told me several times this is the smallest the lumps have ever been and I all so knew how to watch for them and feel for there size and placement and at that time we would decide on the chemo treatment to use or not use at all. I hope this helps a little. Debbie

Default my sympathy

Hi, I am so very sorry about your baby. Try to remember she is in heaven with Our Dear Lord Jesus. This is what kept me sane when I have lost my babies in the past- that someday I will see them again.
My Sammie had surgery for thyroid cancer at the beginning of July and four chemo treatments after that. Now she is well again, hopefully forever.
It is so sad that our animals are getting this horrid disease. I believe it is from all the poisonous things we are using in our homes, lawns, etc. But again noone seems to care UNTIL it happens to their best friend.
Again, my deepest sympathy to you. I am praying for you in htis difficult time.
