Hi All,

Just thought I would mention a type of chemo available at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chick Weiss is doing something called intra-arterial chemo, injecting carboplatin directly into the blood vessels that feed prostate/bladder tumors.

Unfortunately, it didn't really work for my dog, and we're headed for laser surgery on Tuesday (say a prayer for us!)

But supposedly this has worked well for some other dogs. Dr. Weiss is doing a study on the effectiveness of the treatment, so you may not even have to pay if you can get your dog in the study.
