How long until you noticed an improvement? (vincristine)

My dog received her first injection of vincristine yesterday for aggressive (although benign!) plasmacytomas -- a good size oral one, and small spots all over her skin. How long was it before you noticed a change in tumor size with this medication (used in combo with an oral administration of cyclophosphamide -- 1 week vincristine, 1 week cyclophosphamide, 1 week off)?

The radiation oncologists also want to do radiation on the tumor in her mouth, but I am wondering if we might see satisfactory results with just the chemo...?
