Palladia

Help!! The oncologist wants to start my Anka on Palladia for Hemangiosarcoma. It has not been proven effective for HSA, but she thinks that in theory it should help.....Has anyone had experience with Palladia?????

You can also check out her website: www.smilingblueskies.com where there is a lot of information on all kinds of canine cancer, studies in it, nutritional information etc.

She is the one who helped our Benny throughout his cancer and is extremely knowledgeable in all canine cancers and will be able to tell you much more about Palladia and if it would be effective in treating hermangiosarcoma.

The drug was approved for treating MCT (Mast Cell Tumour) which Benny had, but unfortunately he died before the drug was approved.

My Diesel has a mast cell tumor so it is probably different but the Palladia did help him for over 4 weeks. The tumor started shrinking right away. It had minimal side effects and he has a really sensitive stomach. Hope this helps.
