I am thinking of starting my dog Nik on Artemisinin.

He is a 37 lb chow mix recently diagnosed with synovial cell sarcoma in his left hip joint.

I have him on 1200 mg of omega 3 fish oil a day, 200 mg of doxycycline for tumor suppression, colostrum and he eats a protein only raw diet. He has been unvaccinated since 2006 when I adopted him. He is of unknown age but most likely around 10.

How much Artemisinin should I give him? Why can't I give it with meat? What could I give it to him with? He is difficult to pill, but is very food motivated and usually I just give my dogs their pills in raw ground beef or turkey.
