It is highly unlikely the tumor will shrink enough for surgery. Once again I am on that emotional rollercoaster. I pursue all of these treatments looking for a miracle and then I get a hard case of reality reminding me that Tanner will soon be leaving me
The Oncologist will suggest Chemo treatments after next week but it is only to try and slow down the tumor growth. I hear many speak of remission. How do they determine this? Is it through an aspirate?
How will I know if my dog is in pain? He has always been good at masking any discomfort.
I have to study and decide what treatment will come next in 2 weeks between Cytoxan, Piroxicam, Dermamax, Rimadyl, or Doxycycline. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apprciated. Thanks,Wendy

This maybe a hard moment for you but that's life. We have to undergo some painful experience. Anyway, going to your question, it is better if you will personally check on the pros and cons of the said medication.
