Use only filtered water for your recovering dog! My dog was half SharPei and half Pit and the vet said he had never had either breed with Lymphoma and was totally stumped that a half and half with those 2 breeds got Lymphoma. It is very common in Goldens, bulldogs, Chows and the like but not SharPeis.
I'm wondering if it was the food-we fed Dante only Alpo in the can, he wouldnt even eat dry food (unless it was the cat's..lol). We never did any flea treatments as he never had the problem, so that wasn't it.
Find out if your neoghbor's animals have been vaccinated in the last 3 months or so. This seems to be the biggest culprit according to our holistic vet.
