I could not add anything more than my friends have already mentioned. High Protein diet is the best way to go. Also, as TJ said Artemisinin is a tried and true supplement which destroys cancer cells in both humans and animals.
There are lots of great posts here on FOOD AND NUTRITION which will be helpful.
Good luck on the "Roller coaster ride" which is most difficult.
