I am pleased (and surprised)to announce my coming addition to the family.......
FRIEND!! My best friend found a dog at a pet rescue in another part of the state, about 2 1/2 hours from me)that looks like he could be my Dante's twin. He is a 1 year old SharPei mix that needs me and I need him. I had to apply and wait for approval-they check your vet and another reference and make sure you have a fenced yard. They will neuter him next week and I will pick him up the following weekend, two weeks from today.
The funny thing is, I have a picture of a dog next to Dante's ashes and the picture says "Goodbye,Friend".And here I am, saying "Hello,Friend".
