Hi - my name is Cindy and my dog is Boise. I have had her since I found her as a stray in 1997. She is a mix of what I think is german shepherd, maybe austrailian shephard.
Boise was diagnosed with oral melanoma in early January. I have decided against traditional treatments or surgery due to the poor prognosis of oral melanoma, and have been using a homeopathic supplement, as well as feeding her fresh foods, chicken, eggs, broccoli, yogurt, and giving her extra multi-vitamins and minerals.
Boise's attitude is great, as is her appetite, and she seems happy, so that is all I hope for. I hope she dies from old age instead of the oral melanoma.
I also try to remain happy myself and enjoy her, because she really responds to my moods, and I don't want her to have extra anxiety or stress.
