It's been a week since the holistic vet came over,so a week that Dante has been on his new Hoxsey tincture. He still is taking his other supplements and raw diet. We are only taking one walk a day now since I am afraid to tire him too much,and it has been in the teens for temperature and I dont want to get him too chilled.

Yesterday after his walk he seemed to be more tired and slept most of the day. Appetite fine,peeing and pooping fine,enjoyed the walk. Our grown kids came for dinner and he perked up a lot for them.

Today he is better. Ran around the back yard a little bit, barking at the squirrels in the snow. We went for our walk in the sunshine and he ate a cottage cheese snack after. All in all I would have to say he seems to have a little more energy and interest in stuff,doesnt seem distressed like last week when we called the vet out. The vet said it would be two full weeks on the new meds before we know if it is going to help his lymph nodes to shrink or not. He will come back next week with another bottle and to check Dante's progress.
I am so glad we did not euthanize him last week. He is not ready for that step yet, as his quality of life is still good and he is not in any pain or distressed like he was a week ago Sunday. He seems to be back to his baseline except for the huge nodes in his neck and the good sized ones on the back of his legs. Of course, we know that day is right around the bend,but I will dwell on today and let tomorrow take care of itself.
