Deeply sorry to hear about Rufus. We were recently diagnosed with a fast-growing lymphoma, too. I've been told and have read that cancer feeds on carbs, so no grains or such, either. No sugar and I think no (or very little) fruit.

Something I just learned that a vet in Sarasota is doing: Mix 2 parts cottage cheese or yogurt (MUST BE FULL FAT - NOT LOW FAT) with 1 part flax seed oil (NOT capsules, but use the refrigerated kind). If you are using cottage cheese, mash it very well. Give a couple of spoonfuls of this at every meal. I hear this is doing wonders for the cancer patients, but I don't have details.

I have recently read that organic coconut oil is cancer fighting, so I have also added that to the mix. It solidifies in cooler temps.

Additionally, a friend of mine's dog beat cancer at an older age with the diet and vitamins A, C, and E supplements. She also used B-Naturals Bert's Immune Blend powder.

We're fighting the disease now. My Yogi's legs are weak, but he doesn't seem to feel bad. Hope Rufus does well. We're pulling for him.
