Hi, my boxer named rufus is 6 1/2 years old , diagonosed with lymphoma t cell cancer. almost a month ago, decided to do the home cooked food, I use pork, chicken, turkey, hamburger and some sausage, mixed with shredded broccoli, and shredded carrots, and brown eggs, some tofu ,mixed well together, then baked like a meat loaf, then refrigerated and used for a week at a time, I also am giving around 5000 mg of flaxseed oil, one pet - tabs complete vitamin, 1 prednisone 20 mg { twice daily } 1 cimetidine 200 mg { twice daily } 1 green tea 315 mg capsule daily, plus Echinacea around 2000 mg daily . plus some Essiac oil daily, Rufus is feeling great, and is looking better, The lymph node does not feel like it is swollen anymore in his chest, any suggestions on how to keep Rufus around for extended period, I love my boxer very much, he has slept in my bed since he came home at 8 weeks old, I am trying to not give him any carbs at all, I am thinking the flaxseed might not be a good choice, Thinking I will switch to fish oil today, what about the ECHINACEA pro s or con s with it ? some web sites say it is very good in fighting lymphoma ? any help would be very greatly appreciated , Rufus has not done any chemo or radiation.
