RE: the fish oil and the flaxseed and the prednisone for Rufus.

We gave Benny one capsule of Wild Salmon fish oil every day and we continue to do that with our new puppy Shadow. The flaxseed is a good idea. Just put a little oil in the food (Do NOT HEAT it.)
As far as prednisone, you might notice that Rufus needs to go outside and urinate more often. Prednisone causes this frequent urination. You might want to try giving the second dosage earlier in the day rather than close to bedtime. Benny gained too much weight on this drug.
