My Dear Friend,
You are so right to never give up HOPE! It is one thing we can hold onto during this dreadful journey.
It was a combination of good nutrition, good supplements, support from a dear friend who was helping us the entire journey of several months and the kindness and compassion of all the people here as well as HOPE that got us through the journey with our beloved Benny.
He lost his battle in the end, but every day his smile and his energy gave us HOPE that he would be okay.
We know he is safe and well again and we had him much longer than predicted.

"Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless
he's owned a dog. A dog can show you more honest
affection with a flick of his tail than a man can
gather through a lifetime of handshakes."
