I have used it off and on since my dog won't eat the same food for more than a few days at a time. It's not too rich, the high protein/ fat, low/no grain diet is what you want if your dog has cancer. I feed Daisy a variety of things, including kibble, canned and raw, depending on her mood and I think the variety probably gives her a more balanced diet. They do say you can get away with a quality canned food only if you have to.
