Dudley has spindle cell sarcoma
My 6 year old german wire haired pointer has been diagosed with sarcoma in his leg. As he already has arthritis in his spine and elbows amputation isn't possible. We are waiting to see the oncologist at Cambridge Vet hospital. Wound healing (from the wedge biopsy) has been awful. He wont' wear a buster collar without being hysterical so I have to stay with him all the time. Comfy collars don't work - any ideas or experience with this cancer and wound healing?
