What a wonderful note to us all. Maddie is absolutely beautiful and no wonder you have renewed joy in your lives. You said it so well. Thanks for sharing the pictures. You gotta love a "puppy."
Muffin did teach you how to love unconditionally and she will be watching over you and Maddie and your family as you continue a new journey with a new baby to love again. As the quotation says: "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Not one of us who has suffered the loss of our fur pals would every exchange one magic moment of our time with them and their loss is grievous to us. Benny is forever in my heart and always will be, but I do have love to give to another just like you and Raymond and Jim and others here.
